Do Santo ao Souto Vello

About 6.7 km route with 447 m of elevation gain, descending from O Outeiro (Pinol) to Souto Vello and A Cividade, with views over the Sil River Canyon. The trailhead is about a 10-minute drive from the house.

Historia de Cadeiras y su mirador

It belongs to the municipality of Sober (parish of Pinol), in a lush area perfect for getting lost along the trails and eating in its picnic area. It stands out as a place of pilgrimage following the miracles attributed to the Virgin of Cadeiras.

Santuario de Cadeiras, Miradores, Petroglifos, Molinos y Embarcadero de los Chansís

A great trek of around 22 km with a moderate difficulty, taking in magnificent viewpoints along the mighty Sil River and through its impressive canyon.

Cimadevila de Pinol, Casar de Cima y Lobios

An out-and-back route of around 4 km with a low difficulty, to discover nearby hamlets.

Cimadevila de Pinol, Mer, Figueiroa, A Carqueixa, Pinol

A route of around 17 km with a low difficulty, to discover the charming hamlets of the Ribeira Sacra.

Ruta Cañón del Sil (Miradores de Sober)

Around 17 km with an easy difficulty. It combines woodlands, meadows, vineyards and spectacular views of the Sil Canyon.

Augascaída a Castro de Marce

A linear route of around 2.5 km that descends towards the Augascaída Waterfall (about 40 m drop) or the Castro de Marce, with views of the Miño.

De Doade a Augasmestas

Around 27 km with a moderate difficulty and considerable elevation change, passing viewpoints, traditional hamlets, vineyards and the spectacular A Cubela Meander.

Pasarelas del Río Mao

A spectacular route suitable for everyone, around 3.5 km, much of it along raised wooden walkways following the Mao River.

Petroglyphs

Petroglyphs are open-air rock carvings with a complex symbolism, a precursor to the symbols that came before writing. There is a free route to see the most important ones. Sober Tourist Office: 982 460 161.

Mirador de Pena Pombeira

At the highest point of the municipality of Pantón.

Mirador de Pena do Conde / A Barca

The first viewpoint in the whole Ribeira Sacra, set in the Canyon of the Cabe River.

Mirador de Xabrega

On a small mound where the remains of a Celtic hillfort settlement still survive.
